8-story tenant improvement comprised of (4) levels of R&D lab spaces and (4) levels of office space.
Operating as the design-build electrical contractor, this complex and challenging build consisted of a new 4000A service to support the (4) floors of labs, new distribution equipment, UPS, branch power, lighting, lighting controls and fire alarm. The density of MEP systems on the lab floors required extensive preconstruction and BIM coordination efforts to ensure construction progressed onsite to meet the schedule. A collaborative and adaptive approach to both design and construction by the architect, general contractor and MEP trade partners was vital to the success of this project particularly during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
