Project Engineer

Main Office | Santa Clara, CA

We are looking for a Project Engineer to support our growing commercial electrical contracting operations in the Bay Area. The Project Engineer provides support to the Project Manager by assisting with project estimating, design, coordination, and installation of power distribution systems, lighting systems, emergency power systems, and grounding systems. Project types include new facilities, facility expansions, and tenant improvements.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Coordinating material orders and deliveries
  • Tracking project costs
  • Monitoring project schedules and progress
  • Managing clients
  • Reviewing project drawings, specifications, and material lead-times in order to organize and control all project elements

Qualifications

  • This position requires you to be organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related discipline preferred
  • Must have some experience with project design, project management, electrical engineering, and safety management
  • Accubid and AutoCAD experience is preferred
