Project Engineer
We are looking for a Project Engineer to support our growing commercial electrical contracting operations in the Bay Area.
The Project Engineer plays a key role in supporting Project Managers throughout all phases of electrical construction projects, from planning to close-out. This role is responsible for coordinating documentation, assisting with procurement and field support, and helping ensure project execution stays on track. This full-time position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is looking to grow their experience in the electrical contracting industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform estimates and quantity take-offs for bids
- Review and manage submittals
- Process and submit RFIs
- Attend job walks, coordination meetings, and site visits
- Track materials, update procurement logs, coordinate job site deliveries
- Submit purchase order and subcontract requests
- Coordinate and compile close-out materials
- Provide Bluebeam markups and other drawing updates
- Support field teams with training on software
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field is preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in the construction industry is required, electrical experience is preferred
- Bluebeam, Accubid, AutoCAD/Revit experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to visit job sites and collaborate with field and office teams
